Balvaird Castle

I was on my way from Falkland in Fife on my first visit to the Cairngorm region with my new digital camera. Off to the right was a little side road signposted Balvaird Castle so I decided to take a look. The castle lies about 3 miles Northwest of Strathmiglo in Fife, commanding a good view of the lomond hills and the valley of Eden.
